Vision – Alzheimers

The University of Michigan researchers believe they have found a link between vision and Alzheimers. Using a scale of ranking vision from excellent (one) to totally blind (six), researchers found that the risk for dementia increased by an average of 52% with each step up the scale. The obvious conclusion is declining vision precedes dementia and early treatment of vision problems decreases the probability of developing dementia.
